Construction has begun on Crescendo, the fourth and final tower at Link at Douglas in Miami, following the securing of a $134 million construction loan. The 37-story residential tower is located at 3070 SW 37th Avenue and represents the final phase of the larger 7-acre, master-planned, transit-oriented development. Developed by 13th Floor Investments and Barings, the project will yield 392 apartment units adjacent to the Douglas Road Metrorail Station and is expected to complete in 2029.

Hathaway Development has acquired an 11-acre parcel within the 215-acre Wyld Oaks master-planned development in Apopka, where the Atlanta-based multifamily developer plans to build Exchange at Wyld Oaks, a 325-unit apartment community. The project is located within the larger mixed-use development at the intersection of State Road 429 and West Kelly Park Road in northwest Orange County. The development is backed by a $47 million construction loan from Ameris Bank and forms part of an overall investment estimated at approximately $71 million.

A pre-application has been filed for Santa Cruz Isles, an 8-story affordable senior living development planned for the northwest corner of SW 150th Avenue and SW 282nd Street in Leisure City, Miami-Dade County. Designed by Kaller Architecture, with Javier Tavel of Centennial Management Corp. listed as the applicant, the 94-foot-tall building would contain 120 one- and two-bedroom senior living units above ground-floor parking. The property is owned by 28201 SW 152 AVE, LLC, an entity managed by Lewis Swezy, founder, CEO, and president of Centennial Management Corp.

Construction is continuing to rise on Pendry Tampa, a 38-story mixed-use hotel and residential tower under development at the corner of Ashley Drive South and East Whiting Street along the Tampa Riverwalk in downtown Tampa. Designed by Arquitectonica with interiors by Studio Munge and developed by Two Roads Development in partnership with Montage International, the project will yield 220 hotel guestrooms, 200 Pendry Residences, more than 12,000 square feet of meeting and event space, and a collection of hospitality and wellness amenities. Kimley-Horn is the landscape architect, and Coastal Construction is serving as general contractor.

New interior renderings have been revealed for Hyatt Centric Harborside, a 174-key waterfront hotel development under construction at 1000 Boulevard of the Arts in Sarasota. Designed by SB Architects and developed by Kolter Urban, the 20-story project will bring a full-service Hyatt Centric hotel and 117 condominium residences to Sarasota’s waterfront district along Sarasota Bay.
