Crescent Heights has announced the commencement of an expansive art project in the heart of Miami’s Edgewater neighborhood. Renowned artist Arturo Herrera was commissioned to create a 9,350-square-foot mural named Track & Field, which will grace the east podium façade of Forma Miami, a 39-story, 588-unit residential tower designed by Arquitectonica with ODP Architecture & Design as the architect of record spanning nearly a full city block at 2900 Biscayne Boulevard. We Are Nice’n Easy, a celebrated local art collective of Allison Matherly and Jeffrey Noble, will meticulously hand-paint the mural throughout the following few weeks.

Two Roads Development has revealed a first look at the interiors and amenity spaces at the EDITION Residences, Miami Edgewater (The Residences) – the global hotel brand’s first independent collection of fully serviced luxury condominium residences, located in Miami’s Edgewater neighborhood. Designed by architect Bernardo Fort-Brescia of Arquitectonica with interiors imagined by designer Alessandro Munge of Studio Munge, the 55-story, 649-foot-tall glass tower will be situated at 2121 North Bayshore Drive along Biscayne Bay with 800 linear feet of bay frontage. The development will mark Studio Munge’s first residential project in Miami.

Designed by Revuelta Architecture International, with interiors curated by Pagani Arte – the newly established, Made in Italy interior design division, conceived by the founder of Pagani Automobili – the 28-story development aims to feature a 240-foot waterfront boardwalk, private boat slips, and entertainment spaces for 70 all-corner residences.

900 Intracoastal Drive, Inc. has filed plans for a new 16-story residential building at 900 Intracoastal Drive, located near The Galleria shopping mall in Fort Lauderdale. The 185-foot-tall structure, named 900 Intracoastal, is set to yield 217,652 square feet of space and feature 44 exclusive residences along the city’s picturesque Intracoastal Waterway. The development has enlisted a team of renowned firms, including FSMY Architects + Planners as the architect, Kimley-Horn & Associates Inc. as the landscape architect and civil engineer, MG Engineering for MEP engineering, Youssef Hachem Consulting as the structural engineer, and CRUSH Law P.A. as the land use attorney. Fort Lauderdale’s Development Review Committee was scheduled to review the proposal on February 27.

Renowned Chef José Andrés will bring his first new restaurant concept in the Palm Beaches to Olara, which will be open to the public. Following a resounding endorsement from city voters in November 2022 for a lease amendment and development agreement for the property, the developers aim to breathe new life into the site, replacing the existing 615-room Hyatt Regency Miami hotel and the 4,500-seat James L. Knight Center dating back to 1982.
