Mapletree Investments has officially broken ground on the 53,995-square-foot expansion of its logistics facility at 350 Gills Drive in Orlando. The project marks a continued investment by the Singapore-headquartered firm in the Central Florida industrial sector. The expansion will bring the site’s total footprint to approximately 160,000 square feet, reinforcing its role as a logistics hub approximately 10 miles south of downtown Orlando.

National real estate developer PMG and St. Petersburg-based co-developer Feldman Equities, LLC, in partnership with City Office REIT, Inc. and global hospitality leader Hilton, have formally announced the launch of Waldorf Astoria Residences St. Petersburg. The 50-story luxury tower will rise along the downtown waterfront, delivering 163 branded residences and establishing itself as the tallest building in St. Petersburg.

Leasing activity at i5 Wynwood continues to advance, with the co-living development now reportedly 90% leased less than a year after its market debut. Located at 51 NW 28th Street in the Wynwood Arts District, the nine-story project represents Miami’s first purpose-built co-living community and was developed by Related Group in partnership with W5 Group.

Miami-based MG Developer has announced the securing of $105 million in construction financing for Metro Parc South, a forthcoming 347-unit transit-oriented multifamily development in Hialeah, Florida. The project is part of the larger Metro Center master plan and will be developed with financing provided by New York-based SCALE Lending, the lending arm of Slate Property Group. Metro Parc South is being designed by Modis Architects, based in Miami, with Coral Gables-based KAST Construction serving as the general contractor.

Exterior work continues to advance on Viceroy Brickell – The Residences, a 45-story residential tower underway at 77 SE 5th Street along the Miami River and Brickell Avenue. The project is being developed by Related Group and GTIS Partners, in partnership with hospitality brand Viceroy Hotels & Resorts. Arquitectónica is serving as the architect, with interiors by Meyer Davis, while John Moriarty & Associates is leading general contracting efforts.
