The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approved building permits on March 15 for 11 Andrews, a 47-story mixed-use tower planned for 11 North Andrews Avenue in Fort Lauderdale. The building is now authorized to rise 496 feet above ground or 499 feet above sea level. Designed by CUBE 3 with Witkin Hults + Partners as the landscape architect and developed by Miami Beach-based Bachow Ventures, managed by Noah Bachow, the development will encompass 732,500 square feet of space, including 425 residential units, 7,400 square feet of commercial space, and 425 parking spaces.

Developers Property Markets Group (PMG), Lion Development Group, and Marc Roberts Companies have filed with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to approve their latest project, West Eleventh Residences. Located at 18 Northwest 11th Street in Downtown Miami, the tower will rise 44 stories, offering 659 fully furnished, turn-key residences and a distinctive 30,000 square foot, tri-level experiential entertainment and food hall on the ground floor. The development will focus on providing short-term rental flexibility and centralized management, making it a first of its kind in Miami.

Overtown Block 19, a 25-story mixed-use development planned for 1159 Northwest 1st Court in Overtown, has received approval from Miami’s Urban Development Review Board. Designed by Nichols Architects with Witkin Hults + Partners as the landscape architect and developed by RNG Overtown LLC, based in Morganville, New Jersey, the approximate 275-foot-tall structure will comprise 606,942 square feet of space across two towers joint by a podium, including 413 multifamily units, roughly 20,000 square feet of ground-floor retail, and 505 parking spaces.

Construction is underway for 3900 Alton Road, a 9-story multifamily development on a 1.87-acre site between Florida State Road 907, the Julia Tuttle Causeway, and the Talmudic College in Miami Beach. Designed by Arquitectonica and developed by a joint venture partnership between Mast Capital and Rockpoint Group, the development will comprise 178 residential units, ranging from studios to three-bedroom, and 269 parking spaces.
