Developed by Strategic Property Partners, a joint venture between Jeff Vinik, current owner of the Tampa Bay Lightning, and Cascade Investment, LLC, a company owned by Bill Gates, the 16-block $3 Billion mixed-use mega development known as Water Street Tampa is permanently changing the Downtown Tampa skyline with the rise of multiple new buildings.

Plans Submitted For 21488 Southwest 119th Avenue In Goulds, Miami-Dade County

Plans have been submitted to redevelop a vacant plot of land at 21488 Southwest 119 Avenue in the Goulds neighborhood of Miami-Dade County. Located just minutes from South Dixie Highway and the South Miami-Dade busway, the proposal reveals the intent to construct a 2-story building with 4 residential units. The owner of the application is Bluenest Development.

Renderings Revealed For URBAN22 In Edgewater, Miami

Renderings have been revealed via a new proposal for a mixed-use development named URBAN22 in Edgewater, Miami. Officially addressed as 2200 Northeast 2nd Avenue, the plans call for the construction of a 708,119-square-foot structure consisting of two 15-story towers rising from a multi-floor podium. The City of Miami Planning and Zoning Department is currently reviewing the application/proposal for the site, who’s owner are members of the Melo Group filed under Cardinal Plaza Corporation.

Addition To Single Family Home Proposed For 3277 Charles Avenue In Coconut Grove, Miami

An application has been submitted to the City of Miami Zoning and Planning Department requesting permission to expand a 1-story single family home at 3277 Charles Avenue. The plans propose a minor addition of 434 square feet to the existing residence, as well as a front porch and entry feature. Carol Henley is the owner of the application, with Reinaldo Borges of Borges Architects + Associates as the architect.

Activity Spotted At The Site of Property Markets Group’s “Society Orlando”

YIMBY recently spotted activity at 434 North Orange Avenue in Downtown Orlando, the site of an upcoming mixed-use development known as Society Orlando. The developers behind the project, Property Markets Group and Raven Capital Management, are establishing the Society Living hospitality brand in the city with plans for a two-tower structure topping out at 28-stories. Due to the pandemic, construction has been delayed for several months, and now seeing movement on the site could mean the tower could be going vertical soon.

Construction Permits Await Approval For 50-Story Legacy Hotel & Residences At Miami Worldcenter

Developers Royal Palm Companies and OneWorld Developers anticipate the construction of their proposal for the Legacy Hotel & Residences at the Miami Worldcenter development. Designed by Kobi Karp Architecture & Interior Design Inc., the mixed-use tower is expected to rise approximately 659-feet into the Miami skyline across 50 floors. According to the permit filing, the site is addressed as 930 Northeast 1st Avenue, sitting diagonally across from Paramount Miami Worldcenter.

51-Story “Natiivo” To Be Developed At 601 NE 1st Avenue In Downtown Miami

A new 51-story mixed-use tower is destined to rise in Downtown Miami. The project’s official name is “Natiivo”, the first building purposefully designed for home-sharing, which is anticipated to rise to a full height of 588-feet. Addressed as 601 Northeast 1st Avenue, the corner plot of land in which the project is located is within Miami’s Central Business District. The developer, Sixth Street Miami Partners, LLC, an entity affiliated with the Galmut Family, has partnered with famed architectural firm Arquitectonica to design the building.

Related Group’s 37-Story “The District” Approved For Downtown Miami

The City of Miami Planning and Zoning Department has approved the application for the development of Related Group’s mixed-use 37-story tower named “The District”. Addressed as 225 North Miami Avenue, the tower will rise to approximately 394-feet within Miami’s Central Business District at the southeast corner of N. Miami Ave. and Northeast 3rd Street. The development site is steps away from the American Airlines Arena and Bayfront Park, as well as the Government Center Metromover Station. The application was originally filed on August 8, 2020 under the Parcel C, LLC, an affiliate of Related Group.
