Construction has topped out on 2900 Terrace, a 32-story residential tower at 401 NE 29th Street in Miami’s Edgewater neighborhood. Developed by Oak Row Equities and LNDMRK Development and designed by Arquitectonica, the 362-foot-tall structure is planned to yield 324 rental units, 15,536 square feet of ground-floor retail space, and parking for 504 vehicles. Coastal Construction is serving as general contractor.
Revised plans have been filed for Nine Hundred, a 23-story mixed-use development proposed at 900 South Federal Highway in Hallandale Beach. The latest iteration calls for 540 residential units, approximately 6,000 square feet of commercial space, and 638 parking spaces, with the structure rising approximately 258 feet. Northlink Capital is developing the project, with Idea Architects responsible for the design.
Construction has advanced considerably across Phase 2 of Gasworx in Ybor City, Tampa, where three buildings designed by New York-based S9 Architecture, with Atlanta-based Smallwood serving as architect of record, are progressing across the development’s eastern parcels. The 50-acre Gasworx redevelopment is being led by KETTLER in partnership with local developer Darryl Shaw and PPF Real Estate, with plans calling for up to 5,000 residences, approximately 500,000 square feet of office space, more than 150,000 square feet of retail, a public park, pedestrian-oriented streets, and a new stop along the TECO Line Streetcar System.
Nexo Residences has received its Temporary Certificate of Occupancy as construction approaches completion on the 15-story condominium development at 13899 Biscayne Boulevard in North Miami Beach. Designed by Frankel Benayoun Architects and developed by Fortune International Group and Blue Road, the project contains 254 residences along with a collection of resident amenities, with KAST Construction serving as general contractor.
Construction has begun on the ninth and final cube of Waldorf Astoria Hotel & Residences Miami, bringing the 100-story supertall into the final major stage of its vertical rise at 300 Biscayne Boulevard in Downtown Miami. The 1,049-foot tower is being developed by Property Markets Group and Greybrook Realty Partners alongside Mohari Hospitality, S2 Development, and Hilton, with Sieger Suarez Architects collaborating with Carlos Ott on the design. John Moriarty & Associates serving as general contractor.
