Located 227 Northeast 2nd Street in the heart of Downtown Miami, the stylish 31-story mixed-use project, designed by Stantec, was the first new construction condominium in the area to offer buyers the option to rent out their units for short-term stays without restrictions. The location consists of 222 Yotel rooms and 231 residence-style pads. YotelPad Miami is the brand’s second pad location worldwide following the 2020 opening of YotelPad Park City, marking the sixth location in the US and 21st globally.

YIMBY Scopes Views Of The Morris Adjmi Architects-Designed Asher Residences At 1050 Water Street In Water Street Tampa

YIMBY recently stopped by the completed first phase of Water Street Tampa, the 56-acre mixed-use neighborhood developed by Strategic Property Partners (SPP) located within the southern stretch of Downtown Tampa, beside the Channel District. Today, we’re taking a look at Asher Residences, a dynamic, highly-amenitized new 22-story apartment tower at 1050 Water Street designed by Morris Adjmi Architects alongside ODP Architecture & Design as the architect of record. The 273-foot-tall post-modern structure spans approximately 787,808 square feet and offers 490 rental residences ranging from studio to two-bedroom floor plans, as well as 30,000 square feet of ground floor retail space. In addition to offering a collection of rental residences, the developer teamed up with Philadelphia-based hospitality company Method Co. to bring the first Florida location of their high-design extended-stay concept, ROOST Apartment Hotel, at Asher.

Newgard Development Group’s 42-Story Lofty Brickell Tower Enters The Permitting Stage

New construction permits have been filed for Lofty Brickell, a 42-story, riverfront mixed-use high-rise planned for 99 Southwest 7th Street in Brickell, Miami. Located just steps from Brickell City Centre, the building is designed by internationally acclaimed architecture firm Arquitectonica with carefully curated interiors by design firm INC and landscaping by Urban Robot Associates, and is being developed by Newgard Development Group (Newgard). According to October 19 filing, the 574-foot-tall development is projected to yield 619,200 square feet of space including 362 residential units, which would come in a mix of studio, one and two-bedroom residences ranging between 436 to 985 square feet. Although the application is in the pre-screeing phase, Newgard has selected JV Americaribe-Moriarty JV, a joint venture between the construction firms Americaribe and John Moriarty & Associates, as the general contractor.
