As it stands, the Twins Lakes Travel Park has hosted hundreds of RVs and mobile homes since 1975––more than 40 years. Now, pending review with the Broward County Commission on January 24, it could find new life as an industrial development.
The Federal Aviation Administration is reviewing building permit applications for The Crosby, a 33-story mixed-use building planned at 601 North Miami Avenue within the 27-acre Miami Worldcenter mixed-use complex in Park West, Downtown Miami. Designed by Cohen Freedman Encinosa & Associates and developed by Related Group and Merrimac Ventures under the DT G Block LLC, the project will yield 450 fully finished and furnished condominium units spread across 387,355 square feet with interiors by AvroKO, as well as 22,000 square feet of amenities and 3,370 square feet of retail space. Beauchamp Construction is the general contractor for the project.
Victory Park is presently looking for trade partners to build a hotel, a six-story Wyndham Garden Hotel. That aspect will comprise more than 75,000 square feet of new construction, offering 125 rooms.
New renderings have been released for Rivage, a planned 275-foot residential building at 10245 Collins Avenue in the village of Bal Harbour, Florida. Designed by Skidmore, Owings, & Merrill (SOM) with interiors by Rottet Studio and developed by a joint venture partnership between the Related Group, Two Roads Development, and Rockpoint, the 24-story tower will comprise 61 residential units and over 25,000 square feet of amenities. Sources report that construction on Adventis Lauderhill, a mixed-use development, could start in May 2023. The complex will host anywhere from 255 to 275 “flex units.”
