Construction is ongoing at Platform 3750, a mixed-use venture coming to the West Grove neighborhood in Coconut Grove, FL. Per Local 10 News, general contractor Current Builders, Inc. began construction back in April 2021.
Vertical progress is now underway for Metro Edgewater, a 32-story mixed-use tower under construction in what is referred to as the Paraiso District of Edgewater in Miami. Formely known as Paraiso Place, the building is designed by Pablo Burgos of Burgos Lanza & Associates with JFS Design as the landscape architect. The property is addressed as 452 Northeast 31st Street according to city records, and is planned to give rise to a 373-foot-tall structure yielding 520,638 square feet of new real estate. The developer is Carlos Ortiz listed as Metro Edgewater LLC, a subsidiary of Prodesa International LLC.
New construction and demolition permits have been filed for The Collective Wynwood, a 12-story mixed-use building planned to rise at 2825 Northwest 2nd Avenue in Wynwood, Miami. Designed by nArchitects with Corwil Architects as the architect of record for Wynwood Gateway II, LLC, an entity managed by New York City-based The Collective, $210 million will be invested in to the development for the construction of 351,443 square feet of space including 108 communal living units, 70 lodging units, 9,508 square feet of ground floor retail, 82,000 square feet of shared amenities and 163 underground parking spaces. The structure is projected to rise approximately 159-feet bound between Northwest 28th and 29th Streets.
Jacksonville’s Downtown Development Review Board has granted approvals for the construction of Johnson Commons, a 91-unit townhome community in the historic LaVilla District of the Downtown area.
